Born to Waverly-on-the-Water artisans, Mello began nurturing dreams of traveling to Lore City and enrolling at the University much to the teasing of his sister, Mal.

Though close as kids, they began to drift apart in secondary school. Ultimately, they parted ways when Mello accepted entry into the University and Mal stayed behind in their quaint seaside town.

After a life-altering event at University sent Mello into hiding in West District, he found a home with Logan Apollo at The Merchandicey, mixing potions as a resident Alchemist and largely keeping to himself.

The Guildmaster of the Warden Collective, a member-owned guild facilitating access to wells of magic throughout Lore City.

Jessamine Mire

A fugitive from the Lore City Ascendacy who once ran The Merchandicey miscellany shop in West District for several decades.

Current owner of The Merchandicey and former hunter of pests, from toilet pixies to monsters come from the Mines.

An Officer for the Ascendancy based in South District but working “off the books” in West District with assorted informants.
